New Official Announcements for DELE exams
One more year, the Autumn Official Announcements to obtain the DELE (Spanish as a foreign language diploma) are open. These certificates, given out by the Spanish Ministry of Education and arranged by the Instituto Cervantes, have a worldwide recognition by both public and private institutions, international enterprises and chambers of commerce.
Obtaining the DELE, with an indefinite valid period, not only guarantees the academic recognition of the knowledge of Spanish, it is also a warranty at the time of work promotion in any country in the world.
According to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, there are six different diplomas: A1 and A2, which certify a basic knowledge of Spanish; B1, or initial level; B2, or intermediate level; C1, which certifies a competence in the language good enough to express oneself without limitations; and C2, which certifies an advanced level in speech and language comprehension. These certificates are obtained after an exam that has five parts: reading comprehension, written expression, listening comprehension, grammar and vocabulary, and oral expression.
Taking the exams to obtain the DELE is easy: the candidate will only need to certify their nationality of a country which doesn’t have Spanish as a national language; and in case he/she lives in a Spanish-speaking country, he/she will have to prove that hasn’t had Spanish classes in middle and high school, or that none of the parents is a native Spanish speaker.
The exams are carried out at the examination centres authorised by the Instituto Cervantes. The Enforex school of Madrid is one of the authorised centres in which you can also take the preparation courses for any level. On its website you can consult the dates of the exams and the characteristics of the preparatory courses.
The accreditation given by the DELE is recognised in more than 300 countries as an advanced level in the comprehension and expression of Spanish, one of the most important in the world in the cultural, economic and technological areas. So we encourage our readers to take a step forward and obtain a diploma that will be of great help for their future.
