Visit to the “Palau de la Opera” (The Opera Palace”) in Valencia

Even though it is only just over six years old, the “Palau de la Opera” has become one of the most representative symbols of the city of Valencia. Its modern, almost galactic profile is recognized throughout the world and has transformed the City of Arts and Sciences into a must-visit location if you are in the Turia area. Spanish Architecture Course at Enforex Valencia

Whenever we think of Spanish architecture we inevitable think of old samples: a Gothic cathedral, a Mudejar tower, a Neoclassic place… but urbanism and development have not stopped there. On the contrary, many of the most reputed modern architects stem from Spain: Santiago Calatrava, Ricardo Bofill, Carlos Rubio Carvajal or Félix Candela are known worldwide and are linked to major projects, such as the Cuatro Torres Business Area in Madrid, the Turia Gardens or the Palacio de Artes Reina Sofía (the latter two in Valencia).

The training course, titled “The teacher of Spanish as a Second Language: methodology, techniques and resources for the classroom”, will take place during the congress “ II Encuentros ELE Comillas” on 18 – 20 November. During the course, various aspects and methodologies of the teaching of Spanish as a second language will be discussed, while at the same time new approaches to language learning will be suggested. August saw Enforexes second digital photography competition take place, carried out by students from the United States. The basis of the competition was simple. Groups of students were designated a particular colour and the students had to take the most pictures they could in which their group’s colour was the dominant feature in the image.
